Or the reverse Psychology ones
Or a thousand and one variations on this theme - type making money online or anything similar and you'll find plenty of them. They are enticing, appealing and when we read them - we are almost willing them to be true. After all if any of them were true - we could hand over a couple of hundred bucks and completely change our life overnight - wow!
Unfortunately the only life that we will usually be changing is the guy who we pay for this fool proof system. The one thing you have to admire is the way these ads are prepared - they appeal to us on every single level - the money, the lifestyle, freeing up your life from work. We simply want to believe what they are saying.
But unfortunately the world that we all inhabit - things are rarely that easy and this is no exception. The money making scams that are behind these adverts all share many characteristics and one is that somewhere near the centre there are some small grains of truth - "The System" possibly did make money once or maybe it could again in some way but never in the way these guys portray,
I have read many of these systems and it is surprising how many actually contain the same stuff. Let me explain two concepts which are at the heart of many of them. Google Adwords and Google AdSense - these are two Google systems which can be used by virtually anyone to advertise on the Google network.
Google Adwords control the little adverts you see above and next to the Google search results - anyone can advertise here and pay a small amount every time your advert is clicked. Lots of these systems are based around the fact that you can create your own adverts and then send the searcher to a specific web page. What many systems will tell you to do is to sign up with a merchant offering commission and set up adverts to send traffic to those merchants - when people buy you get a commission.
Sounds easy - well it can work but in the vast majority of cases your advertising costs greatly exceed the commission you earn. You have to be very careful on product selection, how you set up the ads and what words you bid on. If you find a particular winning formula it can make lots of money - but best keep it quiet as any competition will almost certainly ruin it's potential - if you publish and sell it in an ebook it becomes worthless !!
So what do you get in many of these ebooks based on Adwords systems - lots of information on how Adwords works and how to set up your account etc. All the stuff that is available all over the web for free of course.
